We are excited to announce that the preliminary draft of the 2024 Comprehensive Plan is ready to begin its formal review by the Sammamish Planning Commission. The preliminary draft represents a culmination of policy direction received from City policymakers over 28 public meetings, reflects community feedback, meets state, regional and local planning requirements, and achieves the Planning Vision.
The Planning Commission will begin its formal review on April 4 at 6:30 PM at City Hall in the Council Chambers. The meetings are hosted both in-person and virtually via Zoom. The Planning Commission is scheduled to review the 2024 Comprehensive Plan on April 4, April 18, May 2, May 16, and June 20, with a public hearing to recommend the Plan to the City Council on July 25. The City Council is scheduled to receive a presentation on the Plan on July 16 and conduct its formal review on September 3, October 15, and November 5, with a public hearing scheduled for December 3 and adoption scheduled for December 17.
